Guide
Getting Started
Create your first project, extract Brand DNA, connect a social account, and publish your first post.
Before you begin
You’ll need a Sociylo account. Create one here — the 14-day free trial includes all features.
Step 1: Create your first project
A project represents one brand or company. Each project gets its own Brand DNA profile, connected social accounts, and post history.
- Log in at app.sociylo.com
- Click New Project from the dashboard
- Enter your company name and website URL — the URL is used to extract Brand DNA automatically
- Click Create
Tip: If you manage multiple clients, create a workspace first and add projects inside it. Each workspace gets its own member list and settings.
Step 2: Extract Brand DNA
Brand DNA is the core profile that makes all generated content sound like your brand — your tone, colors, key messages, and target audiences.
- Open your project and go to the Brand DNA tab
- Click Extract Brand DNA
- Sociylo scrapes your website and uses AI to build the profile — this takes 30–60 seconds
- Review the result and edit anything that looks off
The DNA profile contains:
- Tone of voice — professional, casual, inspiring, etc.
- Keywords — terms your brand uses most
- Value proposition — what you do and why it matters
- Target audiences — who you’re speaking to
- Brand colors and typography — used in post previews
You can edit the DNA manually at any time, or re-run extraction after a website update.
Step 3: Connect a social account
- Go to the Accounts tab in your project
- Click Connect next to LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram
- Authorize Sociylo through the platform’s OAuth flow
- The account shows as connected with a green status indicator
See the platform-specific guides for details:
Step 4: Generate your first post
- Go to Compose from the sidebar
- Select your project and target platform
- Type a brief topic — for example, “announcing our new pricing” or “tips for remote work”
- Click Generate — Sociylo uses your Brand DNA to write a platform-appropriate post
- Edit the draft as needed, then Publish or Schedule
What’s next
- Use the Content Calendar to generate and plan a full week of posts in one click
- Connect an AI assistant via the MCP Server to manage Sociylo entirely through conversation with Claude Desktop — no app needed
