How to remove connected social account data or request full account deletion.

What data does Sociylo store?

When you connect a Facebook or Instagram account through Sociylo, we store the following:

  • Your Facebook or Instagram OAuth access token (stored encrypted).
  • Your Facebook Page ID and Instagram account ID.
  • Basic profile data: name and email address associated with your Meta account.
  • Posts published or scheduled through Sociylo on your behalf.

Option 1: Disconnect from within the app

You can disconnect your Facebook or Instagram account at any time directly from the Sociylo platform:

  1. Log in to app.sociylo.com.
  2. Go to your Project and open Accounts.
  3. Click the settings icon on your Facebook or Instagram account.
  4. Select Disconnect.

This immediately revokes Sociylo access and removes your stored OAuth token and account data.

Option 2: Revoke from Facebook settings

You can also revoke access directly from your Facebook account:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Security → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find Sociylo in the list.
  3. Click Remove.

Option 3: Request full account deletion

To permanently delete all your data from Sociylo (including your account, projects, posts, and connected account data), send an email to:

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Include the email address associated with your Sociylo account.

We will permanently delete all your data within 30 days and send a confirmation email once complete.
